How I Can Help
I provide a safe environment based on support and empathy, encouraging discussion without barriers. I will actively listen and support you in unravelling your conscious and unconscious thoughts and feelings. Whilst my counselling style is non-directive, you will feel enabled to draw from our collaborative working relationship.
The objective of our sessions will be to forge a beneficial, strong and collaborative relationship. To reach an understanding of the underlying reasons for your feelings, enabling you to reassess and make the right choices for you.
At our initial session we will explore what has brought you to counselling and build a strategy for how we may work together. For us to build a therapeutic relationship, it is important that by the end of the assessment you feel that we will be able to connect on an emotional level and that you feel you will benefit from our continued working together.
I specialise in supporting clients wishing to work on their emotional wellbeing, in the following area's.

What can you expect?
Counselling provides you with non-judgmental, unconditional support at a time when your emotions are out of sync. I will help you to explore and reflect on your life through a different lens enabling you to understand what is going on right now. You will start to make sense as to why you think, feel and behave the way you do. As the fog clears, your stuckness will reduce and you will begin to make decisions about a way forward. I will wholly support you through this process.
What's the first step?
The initial assessment session will vary slightly from future sessions. This is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, to discuss your expectations for counselling, and ask any questions you may have. In this session I will also take a history from you, which will help me to identify an appropriate way for us to work together. Importantly, by the end of the session, you will have a good sense whether counselling is for you and if you want to proceed.
Where are the counselling rooms?
In the day time, I work from home in NW7 and evening sessions take place at Millway Medical Practice NW7.
Do you offer Skype sessions?
Initial assessments are always face-to-face, however as we progress in the work, I am happy to consider Skype sessions.
